The big final of Star and Mr GS Hellas 2016 held in Aspro Piato in Glyfada.
Everyone was anxiously awaiting the winners, who would stand out from the rest and will represent Greece in world-recognized beauty contests.
Star and Mr GS Hellas turned into action the moto ‘when beauty has a view’. Just like the previous 6 years, this year the jury was joined by people from the Arts, Letters, Sciences, Journalism, Business and Shipping, which this year is dedicated to the Aegean Sea and the Greek Sea!
Finalist’s dresses were designed by July2 (Konstantinos Stephanou and Ioanna Elizabeth Christidou). The male’s suits were Supported by Spanidis Brothers (Support Your Local Dj’s). The swimsuits of the finals were offered by: APPLE for women’s swimsuits by MEGA EMPORIO S.A., while the men’s swimwear by E.S. COLLECTION. While beauty products were offered by InGlot. The Makeup Artist was Elena Dermetzoglou with Despina Maraveli, and the Leader hairdresser was Grammatikh Cana (GoldenHairandNails), as well as IEK. Xenia Glyfada.
The singing part covered by Julie Masino, Gogo Vagena, Angie Carey, Nicolas Adam, Thodoris Dimitris, on decks the awarded DJ Konstantinos Voulgaris (DJDocta) and Gogo Garifallou had prepared a special show.
All models photographed in the lens of fashion photographers Dina Stamatakou and Mantos Georgikopoulos. The sound and light were covered from the company “SilkSound” and Mr. Vangelis Panou.
Presenters
George Kouvaris presented the final of Star and Mr GS Hellas with Domiki Kefalopoulou. Dominiki Kefalopoulou has won international beauty titles Miss Aphrodite 1999, Miss Globe 1999 and Miss Europe 1999. She has worked on several morning shows with many celebrities, and in addition she has sung at many entertainment venues for many years.
<<As a beauty contest, we fought our own battle with beauty and of course after yesterday night only winners could say how we came out. I am very happy that the world has forgotten about the harsh reality for a while and has been with us to showcase young men and women who will represent Greece in world beauty contests, as we are officially part of the global beauty federation. The motto of our competition is when beauty has a view, which means when beauty is transformed into a view, then we can talk about genuine human capital. The choice of the finalists of the grand final was extremely rigorous, because our goal is to create not only beauty but mainly young people who, with their beauty, are able to promote a culture based on an epistemological basis, and above all spiritual. A big thank you to all our supporters, because in a Greek country they believed in us, and each one in his own unique way contributed to the achievement of Star and Mr GS Hellas 2016>> said George Kouvaris.
