The first year of Star & Mr GS Hellas was called ‘Grande Secreto – Fashion 2011’ – with a lot of glitter the big finale gave to the ‘peacocks’ the glow that suited them..
The evening was held in the magnificent surroundings of the Kwaba suburb of Markopoulo, Attica, a night where the word “success” is small to express its potential. The beauty contestant, publisher George Kouvaris, can only be proud of his initiative to have a beauty pageant with the motto “When Beauty Has a View”.
The space full of people, who despite the financial crisis and the summer holidays said “yes” to the venture with its intense presence. The evening was presented by the organizer George Kouvaris himself with the beautiful actress Eleni Filini.
The explosive Katerina Stanisi raised the decibels with her songs, dragging presenters into a gorgeous Zeibekiko beat, while Lastart group brought hiphop youth. Dj Constantinos Papadakis and Konstantinos Voulgaris filled the music.
George Kouvaris said: ‘’I would like to thank all those who honored us with their presence and all those who helped with this excellent result. In particular I would like to thank Kostas Liberopoulos, Constantine Sebetas and Martha Mavrodogonas for their support.”
The jury consisted of people from the media, letters and arts, medical and business worlds. The Chair was Ms Stavroula Nikolaou (Commissioner of World Beauty Contests – President Miss European Competition Greece and Cyprus) and the Vice President was Ms Anastasia Sidiropoulou (MissTeenWorld 2011).
The ‘Grande Secreto – Fashion 2011’ beauty contest, however, was not the only one to combine beauty and culture, as it referred to both genders.
